Heartland Expands Check Processing
Services with transmodus Partnership
Transmodus´ online technology makes processing returned checks and cancelled checks easier for merchants.
PRINCETON, NJ—November 19, 2007— Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE:
HPY), a leading provider of credit/debit/prepaid card processing, payroll and payment services, today announced it is automating the collection of check payments and the processing of returned and cancelled checks through a strategic agreement with transmodus, an on-demand, online check services processor.
When integrated with Heartland Express Funds™ – Heartland’s remote deposit capture system – transmodus´ technology enables merchants to handle all of their check processing actions online without ever leaving their offices. The result is an end-to-end check processing solution that brings efficiencies to merchants, helping them concentrate on what´s important – running their businesses – while increasing cash flow and operating efficiency.
