transmodus launches linked2pay.com for easier and faster payments using email delivery
OXNARD, CA - October 10, 2011 - transmodus, a technology leader in check and ACH payments automation, today announced the launch of www.linked2pay.com, a new cloud-based service that utilizes specially formatted emails that provide clients a simple and effective method to accept payments online or through smart phones and tablets. Using linked2pay makes it easy to send payment requests via email to one or thousands of customers. Each email links the recipient to their unique payment page where credit cards and eCheck payment options are accepted.
The service offers flat fee pricing with packages that start at $14.95 per month. Clients may use their existing merchant services provider for credit card payments (provider fees will apply) processed through linked2pay.
"Our customers really like the way linked2pay makes it easy for them to pay. And we feel better about taking paper and inefficiency out of our process. It is so easy to use that we got up and running in minutes. If you are sending out bills by mail or expecting people to come to your web site to make payments, I suggest you look at linked2pay which 'delivers' payment requests. Customers appreciate the higher service level, and Linked2pay customer service is amazing," says Veronica Ponce, Director at Green Moon Children's Art Studio.
A business using linked2pay can leverage email, online reporting and accounting update files to complete the request and payment process. As a result the cost of processing a request and accepting a payment is much lower than methods that rely on paper and mail delivery. And the payment cycle can be days shorter while avoiding unnecessary energy use from paper production, printing, postal transportation, and waste disposal.
"Our goal with linked2pay is to provide an easy to use solution that leverages the low cost and wide reach of email with the highest levels of security. Our flat fee pricing structure is significantly less costly than the alternatives. Anyone who visits our site can submit a registration for a free trial to make sure that the solution is a good addition to their payment processing options," says Robert "Jay" McShirley, CEO of transmodus.
The site includes a simple to use email template wizard, contact manager with a list upload feature and full reporting with payment files downloads designed to update the accounting systems of users. The site is ideal for green-minded businesses that want to transition from mailing and the use of more expensive payment options.
Transmodus also offers an API for enterprise clients and software developers enabling them to rapidly add linked2pay functionality for their users through their own user interface. linked2pay is already integrated to and available for users of QuickBooks and soon for Sage. linked2pay makes it incredibly easy for software providers or enterprise companies to integrate and speed their payment cycle, making it green and easy to use.
