Stop Loss Adds Payment Receipts

Now any Bogus Check staff using Stop Loss can accept full or partial payments and issue receipts all through an online interface

Oxnard, CA and Oklahoma City, OK; May 23, 2007 - History is being made in Oklahoma District Attorney Offices because Bogus Check staffs can now complete their entire returned check collection and payment process online. This marks the first time that this level of online processing capability has been made available at any district attorney office in the country.

"With the addition of the capability for us to accept payments and issue receipts online the Stop Loss process provides our office with a complete system that is easy for us to manage and one that is appealing to more and more merchants," according to Karen Reavis, Bogus Check Coordinator in Oklahoma District 12.

Now the Stop Loss service which makes returned check collection easy and simple for the merchant and check writer is also easier for the Bogus Check staff within the office of the District Attorney.

Merchants who enroll in Stop Loss are given access to a secure website where they can check collection status of their returned checks. Merchants who can benefit from the service cover a wide range of business types including convenience stores, restaurants, retail, supermarkets, dental offices and pizza delivery. Merchants who do not enroll in Stop Loss can still utilize the District Attorneys office to collect their bogus checks, but without the automation.
